Volvo XC40 Changes From 2024 to 2025

Since the 2023 model year, all XC40 trim levels have been equipped with all-wheel drive systems with smart electronic traction control modules. The 2025 XC40 could be the final model of its first generation because Volvo engineers are focusing on the XC40 Recharge EV.

There are only a few changes from 2024 to 2025; specifically, the Bright Dusk exterior coating scheme was replaced by the new Sand Dune option. The name of its highest trim level is changing from Ultimate to Ultra, and the base XC40 now has power headrests as standard equipment for the front seats.

Volvo XC40 Core

This base model is equipped with many standard features that make it an enticing crossover in Brentwood, TN. The hybrid powertrain delivers a fuel economy of 26 MPGe through regenerative braking technology; the electric motor delivers 247 horsepower to the eight-speed Volvo Geartronic automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.
